FinWhale™ Replacement Sensor

$199.00
Keep your water quality in check. The FinWhale All-in-One Replacement Sensor uses professional-grade electrochemical sensing technology to monitor pH, ORP and water temperature in real time. FinWhale uses this accurate water-quality data to calculate your pool’s free chlorine needs and automatically dispense a precise, measured amount. The result is smarter chlorine management, more balanced water and less guesswork.

Engineered to Know. Not Just Estimate.
Many pool testing methods rely on color changes to determine water chemistry. Whether those results are interpreted by the human eye or analyzed by an optical reader, factors such as lighting conditions, sample quality, and consumable reagents can influence the testing process.

FinWhale takes a different approach. Its advanced electrochemical sensors directly measure key water parameters, delivering consistent, real-time readings without test strips, color matching charts, or reagent replacements.

When it's time for a replacement, installation couldn't be easier. Simply remove the old sensor, plug in the new one, and you're back up and running. No calibration. No complicated setup. No service calls.

Why Pool Owners Trust FinWhale Sensors
  • All-in-1 Monitoring Measures pH, ORP, and water temperature and calculates a real-time Free Chlorine estimate using multiple sensor inputs.
  • Advanced Electrochemical Technology Professional-grade sensing technology designed to deliver dependable water quality data day after day.
  • Plug-and-Play Replacement Swap sensors in seconds. No technical skills required.
  • No Calibration Required Factory-configured and ready to go right out of the box.

The Essentials of Water Care — Simplified

Because clear water shouldn't require a chemistry degree.

How does FinWhale work?
FinWhale™ floats in your pool and uses built-in sensors to continuously test water chemistry every 20 minutes.
How do I know when my sensor needs to be replaced?
The most common sign is a consistent difference between your FinWhale readings and a trusted verification test. You may also notice slower water quality response times or receive a sensor health notification within the FinWhale app.
Do I need to calibrate the new sensor?
No. Every FinWhale replacement sensor is factory-calibrated and ready to use right out of the box. Simply install the sensor and let FinWhale do the rest.
Can I use this sensor with other pool monitoring systems?
No. FinWhale™ sensors are designed exclusively for use with the FinWhale™ Smart Chlorine Dispenser and are not compatible with other pool monitoring products.
Why do my FinWhale readings sometimes differ from pool store tests or test strips?
Different testing methods measure water quality in different ways. Traditional test strips and DPD tests primarily measure chlorine concentration, or Total Chlorine, at the moment the sample is collected. FinWhale continuously monitors Free Chlorine, pH, and ORP to provide a real-time view of your pool's overall sanitizing conditions.

Because factors such as pH and Cyanuric Acid (CYA) can affect how effectively chlorine works, two tests may occasionally produce different results. FinWhale uses continuous monitoring and automated analysis to help ensure dosing decisions are based on current water conditions, not a single manual test.
